Disability Together is committed to making our website usable for as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA and we are working to improve accessibility on an ongoing basis.
We design and build with accessibility in mind. This includes clear structure and headings, meaningful link text, labels and instructions for forms, good colour contrast, support for keyboard navigation, text alternatives for images and subtitles or transcripts for media where possible. We also provide contact options and information in accessible formats on request.
The site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and on modern operating systems and devices. Some third party content or services that we embed may not fully meet the same standards.
Some legacy documents and downloads may not be fully accessible. Some third party widgets and embedded media may not be fully controllable by us. We are reviewing content, replacing non-accessible files with accessible versions where possible and working with suppliers to improve third party components.
