Serving Disabled and d/Deaf people in Devon and beyond

Through clear advice, wellbeing services and hands-on training, we support Disabled people with a range of impairments or conditions.

This includes people with physical and sensory impairments – including those who are blind, d/Deaf British Sign Language (BSL) users and those with hearing loss – people with long-term health conditions, invisible impairments, learning difficulties, people requiring mental wellbeing support, and people who are neurodivergent.

Support for businesses

It is important to us to provide quality facilities and information to make Moors Valley as accessible as possible to as many people as possible. This is a fantastic new resource that will allow even more of our visitors to learn about our natural heritage

We’ve had great feedback from BSL users about being able to use the tablet in the cave. We’ve also had feedback from parents and teachers of autistic children that have praised the Visual Story for helping their children to prepare for their underground visit

We are so excited to be the first site in Dorset to receive all of the products produced.Accessibility is so important to us, as we really want Disabled visitors to get the most from their visit and really enjoy the park with their families and friends
