Support for you

Advocacy

Free, independent support to make your voice heard and uphold your rights in health, care and social services. Part of the Devon Advocacy Consortium.

Counselling

Six free sessions of accessible, person-centred counselling for Disabled and d/Deaf adults, online or in level-access rooms in Exeter. BSL counselling available.

Countryside Mobility

Hire an all-terrain Tramper and explore coast paths, forests and gardens across the South West with one low-cost membership.

Deaf Wellbeing Service

Deaf-led wellbeing in BSL – relaxed walks, peer groups and practical information. 

Advice and Wellbeing Service

Confidential information and advice to find the right support. Quick helpline help or one-to-one guidance, Monday to Thursday, 9am – 5pm

Disability Ambassadors

A friendly face to join you at a club, class or group for up to two visits – helping you settle in and build confidence.

Sight and Hearing Service

Friendly demos and advice on magnifiers, amplified phones, screen readers and hearing-loop systems – in Barnstaple or by phone/video.

Time to Talk

Free, confidential phone or video calls – up to six hours – for listening, practical tips and signposting to local groups.

Travelling with Confidence

Free, hands-on travel training across Devon with workshops and supported trips by bus and train, co-designed with Disabled people.

Victim services

Free, confidential support for Disabled and d/Deaf victims of crime in Devon – emotional support, information and BSL-accessible options.

Waiting Well

NHS-funded help while you wait for treatment, personalised advice, local groups and practical steps to stay healthy and prepared.
