As a Welcome Host volunteer, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported when arriving and visiting our Disability Together offices. This role is ideal for a great communicator and for someone who enjoys being public-facing.
This role provides practical, hands‑on support to ensure meeting spaces are prepared, guests feel welcome, and day‑to‑day activities run smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Meeting room setup: Prepare rooms ahead of meetings, ensuring seating, equipment, and materials are arranged as required.
- Hospitality: Make and serve tea, coffee, and other refreshments for staff and visitors.
- Visitor management: Welcome and sign in guests, ensuring they feel comfortable and are directed to the right place.
- General support: Provide friendly, practical assistance to staff and visitors, helping maintain a positive and professional environment.
- Tidying the areas after they have left and making sure people have signed out
