Sharing success – voices needed

Ever wanted to tell people how disability shapes you as a person?  That at times, disability builds your success as well as challenging?

‘Sharing Success’ is a research project by Disability Together and Bath Spa University, funded by ‘We Are The People’.

With your help we want to change the stories about Disabled people. Research doesn’t always capture the full depth of Disabled people’s lived experiences. Succeeding despite a disability can be powerful when acknowledged and we’re looking for Disabled people that are willing to share their own experiences and success stories.

We will collect and record personal stories that highlight strengths, skills, aspirations, and achievements, no matter how small.

The stories gathered will be collated and used anonymously to highlight when disability becomes a part of our story, and our success.

How to get involved?

We are looking for Disabled people, living in Devon to take part in informal one-to-one conversations at Disability Together’s offices in Exeter or online. We’d like to capture diverse experiences including people with learning disabilities, neurodivergence, visual impairments, mental ill health, long-term conditions, mobility impairments, BSL users, or Deaf people.
