Safeguarding Adults Week 2025

Head and shoulders of a male and female side by side, together they are both looking at someone or something just out of shot.

Safeguarding Adults Week 2025 runs from 17 to 21 November. It is a time for organisations to come together and raise awareness of important safeguarding issues.

Why it matters

Working in partnerships allows us to share knowledge of safeguarding, learn from others and create safer cultures. This year’s focus is on prevention, taking action before harm occurs.

Each day of Safeguarding Adults Week explores a different theme and how we can help to create safer environments for adults at risk. As part of Torbay and Devon Safeguarding Adults Partnership we will be sharing information daily and signposting to useful resources.

  • Monday: Change the conversation
  • Tuesday: Prevention in practice
  • Wednesday: Creating empowering environments
  • Thursday: Trust your instincts
  • Friday: Celebrate the safer culture
