:We’re proud to celebrate a huge milestone!

More than 10,000 staff across Torbay, Exeter, Plymouth and North Devon have now completed The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism – delivered by our dedicated team of trainers and experts by experience.

Working alongside co-trainers with lived experience ensures that the learning is authentic and relatable.

The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism is the government’s preferred and recommended training for health and social care staff on learning disability and autism. It aims to build better-informed care and understanding towards people who have a learning disability and autistic people.

We’ve seen the positive impact this training has had on those who attend, as well as on the experts by experience who deliver it.

At Disability Together, Disabled people are at the heart of all we do. That’s why we know this training makes a real difference, and why we’re so proud of the number of delegates we’ve trained so far.
